INCREDIBALL CIRCUS II
9' x 20' x 18"
Akron, OH
This long sculpture is viewable from two sides in the lobby of Akron Children’s Hospital. The various chimes, gongs, and tonks of resonating wood provide a pleasant background murmur to the space. Movement of colored wheels is one of the themes of this piece. A favorite feature of this sculpture is the Ferris Wheel powered by balls.

ZIPPY ZOO
7' x 6' x 30"
New York, NY
In this animal-themed ball sculpture a monkey's eyes move from side to side, a ball slides down the long throat of a goose and a turtle carries a ball in its mouth to move it to a new track. These animations, combined with one of Rhoads' most complex loop-de-loops, make this moving ball sculpture a favorite of visitors to Columbia Presbyterian Babies and Children’s Hospital.

"We want to thank George Rhoads and Rock Stream Studios for the superb audiokinetic sculpture that you created and installed in the lobby of the Columbia Presbyterian Babies and Children's Hospital. The animal figures that you incorporated into the piece are sensational. I'm sure they will entertain and delight thousands of children, and their parents, in the years to come. A children’s hospital is a perfect setting for this fun work of art."
